It doesn’t seem five minutes ago and we were spending many of summer nights relaxing in our gardens, now the leaves are falling and the conker hunt begins and yes we’re talking about the Autumn/Winter hair trends for the coming months.
So, I’ve been compiling looks and these are our top 20 hair trends that are going to be major this winter.
Blunt Bob
Lobs have been the centre of attention for a while (don’t worry, they’re not going anywhere), but this winter the bob will be back for its moment.

Beach Waves with straight ends
Yes, it might be winter, but that doesn’t mean that you have to give up your beach waves. In fact, it’s the perfect style for the season because it gives you that ‘I woke up like this’ look.

Soft Copper
A colour that screams Autumn. This beautiful soft copper, looks both rich and natural, with the added lighter areas in the length it keeps the copper looking modern but also to keep that natural feel.

Sparkly/bedazzled hairclips
We’ve seen the hair clips all over lately and they’re here to stay. These sparkly hair clips are way more sophisticated than we remember. We’re currently loving the word and initial clips, so why wouldn’t we go for a B of course Bespoke.

Smoothed – Sleek Back look
Sometimes we just need a different styling option to our everyday look. Whether this be a casual day look or an evening look jazzed up with some added accessories. Yes, I told you before those hair accessories are going to be huge this autumn/winter season.

Pastel Blondes
Let’s face it – a soft pastel blonde is never going anywhere – we love this very soft pastel peach.

Partly Braided Pony-tail
A twist on an otherwise basic ponytail this winter? Adding in a partly finished fishtail braid. It’s a look you might not of seen yet, but trust me you’ll be seeing a lot of this over the season.
A quick simple sophisticated look to take you from day to night.

Pearl Hair Clips
Ah, yes another hair clip. I told you these are going to be an even bigger trend this winter.
With the ever classy half up – half down look, simply secure with a single pearl clip in the back to complete your look.
Whether it’s a straight or wavy look you go for, this will simply complete your look.

Mulled Wine
Take dark hair a few notches warmer for winter with a dusky crimson shade for that true mulled wine richness.

Brushed – Out Curls
For a major 70’s throwback this winter, brush out your natural curls to make them look full and voluminous.
Choose a bristle brush – they’re great for detangling thick, curly hair.

The Deep Side Parting
So you’re still wearing your hair in a middle parting? That’s totally fine if that’s your look, but maybe it’s time to switch it up and hop on this winter’s hair trend – a deep side parting. It gives your hair instant depth and dimension, which helps keep it from falling flat.

Balayage
If you’re stuck between blonde and brunette, get the best of both worlds with a soft fade from dark roots to blonde hair.
To brighten your look on dark winter days, frame your face with lighter pieces.

Choppy Lob
See I told you the lob isn’t going anywhere; this winter go for a choppy layered lob. If you have fine hair you may need to give your hair a little extra volume lift by using Redken Aerate before drying.

Stacked Hair Grips
Hair grips are usually hidden but in this winter hair trend, they’re the main attraction. Yes, you heard it from me correctly. Stack/layer a bunch of hair grips to the side of your hair. It’ll look amazing I promise.

Icy Silver
Go for a new silver hue with slightly darker roots to become the ice queen you’ve always wanted to be.

Smooth Top Knot
Instead of going for a messy bun, go for a smooth top knot instead. It’s a lot easier that it looks.
Smooth your hair through with a spritz of Redken Shine Flash twist it into a bun and secure it in place with some pins.

Soft Fringes
Previously we’ve seen a lot of shorter and blunter fringes. We love these longer and softer face framing fringes. Give your fringe a spritz of Redken Control Addict hairspray to ensure you keep your fringe in place during the day.

Icy Platinum
Already blonde or platinum blonde? Try an icy blonde for winter. These platinum blondes are a lot of up keep but try using Redken Blondage Shampoo and Conditioner to keep your blonde icy – the Blondage is a toning and strengthening system for blondes – it’s amazing.

Copper
Some say soft copper, we say orange. This stunning bright copper is perfect for the Autumn season – just wow.

You don’t need to be dramatic
You don’t need to dye your hair purple to make a dramatic statement this winter. Long dark hair stands out, yet looks natural with all skin tones.
